Port Armstrong Hatchery employs full time managers, fish culturists, and maintenance personnel. We also hire temporary seasonal hatchery technicians and laborers to assist with various aspects of our operations. Our hatchery is a community, and we strongly value all of our staff, as they are the most important element to the success of our mission. We offer employees benefits such as housing and monthly food allowance. Our full time permanent staff also receive health insurance and other benefits. The challenging work and amazingly beautiful, yet remote, environment make living and working at Port Armstrong Hatchery a uniquely rewarding experience.

As of October 1, 2015, there are no open positions at the hatchery. If you are interested in working for us as a fish culturist, hatchery technician or maintenance specialist, you are welcome to send us your resumé and letter of interest and we will keep it on file for future reference.
